Dr. M.L. Goenka, the Director of the Institute of Human Reproduction started the first IVF centre in North East India. He has worked closely in the IVF treatment field since the 80’s when IVF was in the preceding stage and specialized treatment was not easily available. Driven by the desire to fulfill the dreams of childless couples and create a sense of wholeness within their families, he converted his general nursing home into a specialized infertility care center. This endeavor included the procurement of state-of-the-art equipment sourced from Germany and other parts of the world, reflecting his commitment to providing nothing but the best for his patients. His passion for his work has made him deliver thousands of test-tube babies so far and has won many accolades for his great effort.
