The people behind the fleet See our fleet

The family business was started in 1975 by the late Shri Prakashlal Bhatia, among the first operators to put organised bus rental on Mumbai's roads. What began with a handful of vehicles is today a fleet spanning four seater cars to fifty four seater coaches.

The late Shri Prakashlal Bhatia, who started the family business in 1975

His son Manish Bhatia joined him in 1991 and started Avante Travels in 2020. He runs it on the principle the family business began with: quote honestly, maintain properly, deliver what was promised. He still takes the calls himself.

It depends on the route, the hours and the season, so we quote per trip rather than publish a single rate. Starting rates for each vehicle class are shown on the vehicle cards above, and the written quote lists the kilometre basis and every extra in full.

Garage to garage, which is standard practice in Mumbai. Kilometres are counted from our garage, through your itinerary, and back again. We tell you the figure before you book, so the invoice never surprises you.

The Urbania is the newer vehicle, with a higher roof, a walkable aisle and push back seats, in 10 to 17 seat layouts. The Tempo Traveller runs from 13 to 26 seats and is the more economical choice for larger groups.

A wider, deeper reclining seat with individual armrests, fitted in place of standard bench seating. It reduces the seat count but makes a long outstation run considerably more comfortable.

Yes. Avante is MSME and GEM registered with full GST history, which makes us eligible for government and public sector tenders. We already run staff transport contracts for PSU clients in Mumbai.

No, and we say so up front. Toll, parking and state entry tax are charged at actuals with receipts, along with driver allowance on overnight trips and night driving charges between 11pm and 6am.
