About Avante Travels

Avante Travels rents buses, tempo travellers and cars with a driver in Mumbai, from our own bases in Kandivali West, Malad West and Andheri. Avante was founded in 2020 by Manish Bhatia, who has been in the bus industry since 1991, with the blessings of his late father, Shri Prakashlal Bhatia, who started the family's transport business in 1975 and was one of the pioneers of bus rental in Mumbai.

01Our story

How It Started

Avante's story begins in 1975, when the late Shri Prakashlal Bhatia started the family's business and built a strong foundation in bus and passenger transport. One of the pioneers of the bus rental industry in Mumbai, he was part of the generation that built the business of moving groups around this city by road.

His son, Manish Bhatia, joined him in 1991 and has been closely involved in the day-to-day operations and management of the business ever since. In 2020, with his father's blessings, he started Avante Travels, carrying forward more than three decades of hands-on experience and a promise to keep the family's values and traditions intact.

03Where we stand

Avante Today

Today Avante runs its own fleet from Kandivali West, with cars from Andheri and a booking office in Malad West. Our own Force Urbania, five modified tempo travellers, a 33 seater mini bus and two coaches are backed by a vetted partner network, so we can take on anything from an airport run to a multi vehicle wedding.

Every booking has one coordinator and one bill, and every partner vehicle is under three years old and in the category you booked or higher.

When I started Avante, I promised to keep my father's values and traditions intact. Every vehicle we own and every quote we send is part of keeping that promise.

What Has Not Changed

The promise Avante was founded on comes down to three things we do not compromise on.

We own what we rent

The vehicle you are shown is the vehicle that arrives. Most of our fleet is ours, and when a trip needs a partner vehicle, we tell you before you pay.

Our own drivers, not app drivers

Our vehicles are driven by our own drivers, experienced on Mumbai's roads and Maharashtra's highways, not by whoever happens to be nearest on an app.

The quote is the bill

Every charge is written down before you pay, from toll at your actual FASTag statement to the late night allowance. Nothing appears for the first time on the final bill.
