Home Services Destinations ContactHire a mini bus in Mumbai with a driver, from 19 to 33 seats, in AC and non-AC. A mini bus is the step up from a tempo traveller: a wider aisle, a taller cabin and more seats, without moving all the way to a full size coach that many Mumbai roads cannot take.
Schools book it for picnics, companies book it for staff movement, and societies book it for group trips. Our own 33 seater is a packglass AC vehicle and we run it out of Kandivali.

Mini buses differ mainly in length and seat count. All of them seat two and two, and all are available in AC or non-AC.
The shortest of the range and the easiest to get down a narrow road. Schools book it for smaller class groups and companies for department outings. If a 26 seater tempo traveller will not fit your lane, this often will.
The middle size. It seats a full office team or a school section with luggage stowed properly rather than piled in the aisle. A good balance between capacity and getting around Mumbai.
The largest in this category and one we own. Packglass finish, full air conditioning, and the point where the cost per person becomes very competitive. Needs proper road width and a real parking spot, so send us the pickup and drop addresses.

The same rule applies as our smaller vehicles. Medium sized bags come to roughly the number of seats. Large bags come to about 60 to 65 per cent of the seat count. Above 33 seats you move into full coach territory, where luggage sits in bays underneath and the maths changes.
If the group is smaller than the vehicle, spare seats can take extra bags, provided nothing damages them. For sports kit, event equipment or instruments, tell us what is coming and we will confirm before you book.

Google Maps times assume a car on an empty road. A full vehicle with a speed limiter, a halt and Mumbai traffic on the way out takes longer, and the distance runs higher than the straight line too. Here is what to actually plan for.

We own a 33 seater AC packglass mini bus and service it at our own garage. Smaller sizes in this category come through our vetted partner network.

When we bring in a vehicle from our vetted partner network, it is no more than three years old and in the same category you booked or higher. Occasionally we upgrade a client at the same price, and we do not charge extra when that happens.

On most nearby states we pass on a discount of up to 50 per cent on the normal state tax, all year round, not as a seasonal offer. If you would rather have one all inclusive figure with nothing charged afterwards, ask and we will quote it that way.
Our buses and tempo travellers run from Kandivali. Our cars run from Andheri. We do not want to bill you for the drive to your door, so for most pickups across Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai we calculate distance from a point closer to your boarding location once you tell us where that is. Both kilometres and hours are counted the same way.
A note on waiting. No vehicle stays running in standby for more than ten minutes in one spot. If you need the engine and air conditioning kept on while the vehicle waits, tell us and we will quote it, because it burns fuel.

All our vehicles are speed limited to 80 km per hour, which RTO rules require. It is set in the vehicle and we cannot raise it. Factor that into your timings, and see the route table above for realistic drive times.
From a point close to your boarding location wherever we can, not strictly from our garage. Our buses and tempo travellers sit in Kandivali and our cars in Andheri, and we would rather not bill you for the drive to your door. Tell us your pickup point and we will confirm how it is being counted.
The bigger the vehicle, the lower the cost per head. A 13 seater on a Lonavala day trip runs about ₹8,000, which is roughly ₹615 each. A 49 seater coach on the same trip runs about ₹18,000, which is roughly ₹367 each. If you are close to the next size up, it is usually worth going up.
Book one size bigger than your headcount. It leaves a spare row, so someone can put their feet up and lie down on a long stretch, or the children have somewhere to play. It is the single best piece of advice we give and it costs very little.
To secure your preferred vehicle, book as early as you can. We also take last minute bookings up to an hour before pickup, depending on what is free and where it is.
Higher than a tempo traveller, yes. If anyone travelling has trouble with steps, tell us and we will suggest a different vehicle.
