Step 1
We size the vehicle to the group and the bags
Tell us headcount and rough bag count. Medium bags come to about the seat number and large bags to about 60 to 65 per cent of it, so the two numbers together decide the vehicle.

What Usually Goes Wrong How We Plan a Group Trip Which Vehicle for Your Group Where Groups Go From Mumbai What a Group Trip Quote Covers FAQsThe rest of the site
Home Our vehicles Destinations ContactOne vehicle for the whole group, from Mumbai, with a driver. Tempo travellers from 14 to 26 seats, a 16 seater Urbania, mini buses and full coaches. Everyone travels together, everyone pays their share of one bill, and nobody is following behind in a second car wondering where the first one went.
Once you are seven or more adults, this is almost always cheaper and better than taking two cars. Our tempo travellers also have a sofa row at the back that converts to a bed, so somebody can actually lie down on the long stretch.

Half the group takes one route, half takes another, and the day starts with forty minutes of phone calls in a car park.
Two cars, two fuel bills, two sets of toll, and a WhatsApp group arguing about who owes what three days later.
Everybody packs for a weekend, nobody counts the boot, and somebody's bag rides on a lap for six hours.
A six hour run in a vehicle with nowhere to stretch out is fine at thirty and not fine at seventy.
Step 1
Tell us headcount and rough bag count. Medium bags come to about the seat number and large bags to about 60 to 65 per cent of it, so the two numbers together decide the vehicle.
Step 2
Not the Google figure. Add about an hour on trips up to five hours and about two hours beyond that, with distance running 10 to 15 per cent higher than the map says.
Step 3
Everything in writing before you pay, so the group can split a single known figure rather than reconciling receipts afterwards.
Step 4
Travelling with elders or small children? Book one size up. The spare row means somebody can put their feet up and lie down, or the children have somewhere to play.
Matching the fleet to the job
The bigger the vehicle, the less each person pays. A 13 seater on a Lonavala day trip works out around ₹615 a head. A 49 seater on the same trip works out around ₹367. If your group sits close to the next size up, going up usually costs less per person, not more.

Pickup points
Our buses and tempo travellers run from Kandivali and our cars from Andheri, with pickup points across Mira Road, Bhayander and the wider suburbs. Tell us your boarding point and we calculate distance from somewhere close to you rather than from our garage.
Some venues and rural roads cannot take a large vehicle. Send us the exact pickup and drop addresses, including any unpaved or monsoon affected stretches, and we will confirm access before you book rather than on the day.

When the group is smaller than the vehicle, spare seats can carry extra luggage, as long as nothing damages them. If something does, charges apply.
For interstate trips we pass on a discount of up to 50 per cent on the normal state tax, all year round.
On most nearby states we pass on a discount of up to 50 per cent on the normal state tax, all year round. If you would rather have one all inclusive figure with nothing added afterwards, ask and we will quote it that way.
No vehicle stays running in standby for more than ten minutes in one spot. If you need the engine and air conditioning kept on while it waits, tell us and we will quote it, because it burns fuel.
Seven adults. Below that a car or SUV usually works out fine. At seven or more, one tempo traveller normally costs less than two cars, and everybody travels together rather than in convoy.
The bigger the vehicle, the lower the cost per head. A 13 seater on a Lonavala day trip runs about ₹8,000, which is roughly ₹615 each. A 49 seater coach on the same trip runs about ₹18,000, which is roughly ₹367 each. If you are close to the next size up, it is usually worth going up.
Roughly as many medium bags as there are seats, and about 60 to 65 per cent of that number in large bags. If your group is smaller than the vehicle, spare seats can take extra bags as long as nothing damages them. Tell us the bag count when you book.
Book one size bigger than your headcount. It leaves a spare row, so someone can put their feet up and lie down on a long stretch, or the children have somewhere to play. It is the single best piece of advice we give and it costs very little.
Our tempo travellers have a sofa row at the back that converts to a bed. On a 20 seater that means 16 premium seats and a 4 seater sofa-cum-bed. Somebody can lie down properly on a long drive, which is not something a standard vehicle offers.
Yes. Apart from cars and the 13 seater AC, non-AC options are available across all the higher categories. Non-AC costs less and is fine in the cooler months.
Because Google assumes a car on an empty road. A full vehicle with an 80 km per hour speed limiter, a halt and Mumbai traffic on the way out takes longer. We add about an hour on trips up to five hours and about two beyond that, and we plan distance 10 to 15 per cent higher than the map. It is better to be early than to explain why you are late.
From a point close to your boarding location wherever we can, not strictly from our garage. Our buses and tempo travellers sit in Kandivali and our cars in Andheri, and we would rather not bill you for the drive to your door. Tell us your pickup point and we will confirm how it is being counted.
To secure your preferred vehicle, book as early as you can. We also take last minute bookings up to an hour before pickup, depending on what is free and where it is.
Yes, and most groups do. Give us the addresses in the order you want them and we will build the route and the timing around them.
Within the package, yes. Halts for food and tea are normal and the driver knows the usual stops. Long detours add kilometres and hours, which are charged beyond the package, so tell us in advance if you are planning one.
